learnfromCher.com ("we", "us") is operated by Tan Xiaohan, trading as learnfromCher.com, in Singapore. We are committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

Parent/guardian details: name, email address, mobile number.
Student details: name, secondary level, subject stream, and school year (we do not collect NRIC numbers).
Diagnostic and learning data: responses to our free diagnostic test, topic scores, and progress records from lessons and practice materials.
Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, or our website forms.

2. How we use it

To deliver the free diagnostic and send its topic summary to the parent/guardian email provided.
To provide tuition services: scheduling, lesson materials, progress reports, and member-portal access.
To respond to enquiries and administer payments and receipts.
To send information about our own programmes where you have consented — you may opt out at any time.

For students under 18, we collect and process the student's information on the basis of the parent's or guardian's consent, given when the parent submits the diagnostic or enrols the student.

3. Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (e.g. website hosting, email delivery, video conferencing, and payment processing), each bound to protect it, or where disclosure is required by law.

4. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit. Portal access is protected by individual access codes, and member files are watermarked. We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw consent to its continued use, by contacting our Data Protection Officer at dpo@learnfromcher.com. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing services.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses only the technical cookies needed for it to function (for example, keeping a member logged in). We do not use advertising cookies.
